Kirstenbosch
Botanical Gardens uses volunteers in 24 different areas, ranging from potting
up some plants to pollinating others; teaching school children environmental
education to introducing adult visitors to the wonders of the Cape Floral
Kingdom; from giving guided tours of the Garden to developing new theme
walks and working on the Information Desks.
|
Our
volunteers come from all walks of life and have a shared love of the Gardens
and a willingness to to be part of the team that keeps Kirstenbosch on the
map. They are a dynamic group of people with a wide variety of skills. We
endeavour to find a niche to suit all would - be volunteers, and try to
ensure that the time they spend here is especially rewarding |
