It is possible to catch a Golden Arrow bus from the centre of Cape Town to Kirstenbosch on week days. Busses depart from the Golden Acre terminus, which is near the Cape Town station, and travel via Mowbray to Kirstenbosch. Some busses only travel between Mowbray and Kirstenbosch. Route From Cape Town: Bus departs from Golden Acre terminus, turns into lower Plein Street, left into Main Rd, Station Rd to Mowbray terminus. Bus departs Mowbray terminus (below Mowbray Station), turning left into Main Road, right into Dean St., left into Newlands Avenue, left into Paradise Right into Edinburgh Drive, right Bishopscourt Drive, right into Kirstenbosch Drive, left Rhodes Drive, and into Kirstenbosch. The return trip to Cape Town follows the same route, but in reverse. |
