Fynbos restaurant.

Kirstenbosch
Tea Room
The Kirstenbosch Tea Room is situated in the Centre for Home Gardening, Gate 2. The Tea Room has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, with inside and outside tables and seats 250 persons. It is open every day, except Christmas Day, from 08h30-17h00 in summer and 09h00-17h00 in winter.
The Kirstenbosch Tea Room was built in 2003 to replace the popular Tea Room built in 1924 and demolished 75 years later, in 1999. The old favourites like fish and chips and bangers and mash are served with contemporary flair and many new exciting dishes have been added to the extensive menu.
Breakfasts, salads, sandwiches, soups and comfort foods, lunches and teas are served, including Pamela's famous cakes and desserts, and English “Tea for Two”.
All food is prepared and breads and cakes are baked on the premises.
Anything on the menu is available for takeaway or make up your own "Garden Gourmet Picnic" from the picnic menu. Tailor-made picnics for large groups can be arranged if booked in advance.
Laptops may not be used at the Kirstenbosch Tea Room.

Botanica

Situated in the Visitors' Centre at Kirstenbosch, Caffe Botanica is an excellent spot for a light lunch, coffee break or snack. It can be visited without entering the Garden.
Caffe Botanica is open daily from 08h00-017h30, but may close earlier in winter.
