Plants

Kirstenbosch Garden Centre
The Kirstenbosch Garden Centre is an indigenous
nursery operated by Richard Jamieson, Trish Hutton-Squire and Donovan
Gillman, who together have more than 50 years of nursery and landscape
experience, much of it with indigenous plants.
A wide range of plants including bulbs, succulents, groundcovers,
trees, shrubs, climbers, annuals, fynbos plants and herbaceous material
is on sale. Compost and environmentally friendly
fertilizers, insecticides and fungicides are stocked. Fresh cut flowers can also be bought.
The Garden centre is open 09h00 to 17h00 everyday excepting Christmas Day and Easter Saturday. The nursery,
has its own entrance from the car
park at gate 2, but access to the gardens is restricted to ticket holders only.
Please note that the nursery does not operate a mail order system and neither are we able to arrange phytosanitary certificates necessary for moving plants around the world. The Kirstenbosch seedroom handles the sale of seed by mail.

Design Centre
roomtogrow
One of the tenants at the Kirstenbosch Centre for Home
Gardening is roomtogrow, a garden design company that assists
home owners to plan gardens to suit their lifestyles and complement
their homes.
"We believe that home owners need to make full use
of their outdoor space to create an 'extension' of their home",
says Donovan Gillman of roomtogrow. "We are fortunate to live in
a country where our climate lends itself to outdoor living and it makes
sense not to restrict your lifestyle to being indoors. By create additional
space outdoors - not matter how big or small your garden - you can add
to your lifestyle."
The Pam Golding Property Design Centre will form a satellite
office of roomtogrow with consultants offering free advice to
homeowners between 11h00 and 15h00 daily.
For more information on roomtogrow and the range
of services it offers call (021) 797- 8975 or email roomtogrow@wol.co.za
