Visitor Centre at Lowveld NBG

New entrance

The visitor centre was completed and opened to the public in June 2004 and allows access to a part of the garden that was previously unreachable. It houses a fully licensed restaurant that provides top class food in an amazing setting; an art, décor and book shop with wonderful and interesting items to take home with you; an entrance point to the garden, as well as a small information centre that provides a glimpse into the garden.

BridgeThe circular route leading from the visitor centre has some of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Lowveld. It overlooks the Crocodile River and Cascades Waterfall with a range of naturally formed potholes.

The walkway takes you into the main garden via a suspension pedestrian bridge, beginning your tour of the main in the tropical Africa Rain Forest.

In addition to the entrance at the visitor centre, there is also a Main Entrance to the Garden, giving you direct entrance to the main garden.
