Biodiversity Information Management Forum 2015 postponed

09 November 2015

Please note that the Biodiversity Information Management Forum, which was due to take place from the 17th – 19th November 2015 in Cape Town, is being postponed until  April / May 2016.

Based on responses from the BIM community to align SANBI events and rationalise travel expenses of conference delegates, it was decided to align the Biodiversity Information Management Forum and the Foundational Biodiversity Information Programme Forum. This will ensure increased co-ordination of work programmes, networks and rationalisation of travel expenses. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

The new conference dates will be set as soon as possible and communicated to you accordingly. For those stakeholders who have sent registration forms, we will keep these and confirm attendance once registration opens again.

Thank you for your understanding and apologies for any inconvenience.

- Please contact Fatima Parker-Allie should you have questions regarding this event.
