Free State NBG Education

Our mission is to use the Gardens and resources of SANBI to inspire and enable people from all walks of life to take responsibility for the environment.

The Free State National Botanical Garden offers a wide range of activities and resources for educators and learners. Programmes are activity-based and learner-centred, reflecting the critical and development outcomes in the National Curriculum Statement. We share a vision with teachers who recognize the educational and environmental value of indigenous gardens that promotes biodiversity.
