Mzansi superstars Amanda Black and Nobuhle will bring their passionate and soulful Afrobeat sounds to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on Sunday, 4 December 2022.
Multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter and global success story in the making Amanda Black will return to the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts to headline the season’s third show. She recently released a new single, ‘Kutheni Na’, featuring famous rapper Kwesta, on her highly anticipated third album Mnyama. Black’s performance will be a powerful transcendence into the Afro-soul world as she delivers top hits from albums Power, Amazulu and Mnyama.
Nobuhle, who’s swiftly becoming a household name in South Africa, will open up the show with her Afro-pop/house tunes that have a hint of spiritual sound. The artist has worked with prominent house DJs and producers like Black Motion, Sun EL Musician and the duo Lemon and Herb. In 2020 Nobuhle released her debut single, ‘Always With Me’, and her debut album, IMVULA, in 2021.
