The Kirstenbosch Gold Fields Environmental Education Centre will be hosting a “Trash to Trend” Art Workshop – a creative fashion show experience with a powerful environmental message. This hands-on workshop encourages children aged 10–15 to transform recyclable materials into fashionable designs and accessories, promoting creativity while raising awareness about waste reduction and sustainability.
The event aims to challenge participants to collaborate, innovate, and learn about the impact of waste on our environment through fun, purposeful activities. The workshop takes place on 07 October 2025, from 08h30 to 13h30. The cost is R80 per child (pre-booking and pre-payment are essential). Parents are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before the end to enjoy a delightful mini-runway showcase featuring their children’s creations.
