The services of an experienced, reliable individual are required to perform general driving duties.  The successful candidate for this position is required to be in possession of an unendorsed Code C1 Driving licence and valid PDP enhanced by 2-3 years’ driving experience of carrying passengers and goods. It is a requirement of the position that the candidate must be able and willing to work additional hours daily in order to transport staff to get them to work in time. The possession of own transport would be an advantage due to the storage arrangements of the bus after hours. The candidate must be able to operate a 50 seater passenger bus and a 4x4 tractor with slasher and trailer behind.

Key responsibilities

  • Safe transport of staff using a 50-seater passenger bus.
  • Collect garden material
  • Inspection and cleaning of the official vehicle
  • Making firebreaks using tractors
  • Produce mulch, compost and remove garden refuse
  • Perform general driving duties such as collecting post and perform shopping duties.
  • Transporting of recycled plastic bottles, glass and boxes
  • Fire fighting
  • Comply with and contribute to Health & Safety in the work-place.
  • Comply with Road Safety legislation.

SANBI offer an annual salary of R 136 800 .00 and additional fringe benefits.
