Auditing: Strengthening management planning and accountability at Rhenosterkop ‘Rhinoceros Hill Nature Reserve’

In the Western Cape stewardship agreements areunderpinned by a site specific management plan in whichthe responsibilities of both land owner and conservationagency are clearly spelled out. Implementation of this management agreement is audited annually. Under the new tax legislation this audit also needs to validate management expenses claimed as tax deductions.
