The Offshore Marine Protected Areas (MPA) Project aims to facilitate the development of a representative offshore MPA network that has broad support from the various offshore marine use sectors and is based on the best available scientific information, for the conservation of South Africa’s offshore biodiversity and the wise use of offshore marine resources.
