Web dialogue for biodiversity project and partners

It is time to celebrate the joint efforts of a network of diverse communities, government entities, businesses and the NGO sector in implementing the Biodiversity and Land Use Project. Implementers and donors are excited to showcase its successes by hosting a free virtual event on 2 and 3 December 2020.

Anticipate robust and engageable dialogues that will address views on how ground-level alliances have benefitted people, the natural environment and the local economy. Biodiversity partners, policy and decision-makers will share key lessons involving the project’s journey towards mainstreaming biodiversity with government and agro-forestry sectors.

The five-year project has been active in four provinces in South Africa and has been contributing towards sustainable land use practices at the municipal level. These efforts ensure that the country’s rich biodiversity contributes towards its development objectives.
