The Free State National Botanical Garden (FSNBG) has scooped the golden award in four consecutive years at the Bloem show expo. The expo is a ten day event that took place from 26 April to 05 May 2018 under the visual theme of “Monsters and Mascots”. Competing with more than 300 exhibitors, the FSNBG was amongst 57 exhibitors awarded at the event.
The garden was awarded for its beautiful, creative and magnificent stall which consisted of many different indigenous plants from the garden and landscaping. The judging criteria was based on the marketing, neatness and general impression.
In efforts to increase our footprint, the garden used the Bloem Show as the opportunity to market and showcase the garden to more than 100 000 people who attended the show.
The FSNBG curator, Mr Eliot Lithudzha congratulated the team for the work done to make sure the exhibition is a success.
