SANBI is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly-motivated, dedicated, professional, self-starter and responsible individual to manage, provide high-level administrative, logistical and secretarial services to the office of the Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate must assume duty with immediate effect.

This position requires a degree in Office Administration/Management/Public Administration or equivalent and relevant qualification at NQF level 7.  Postgraduate qualification at NQF level 8 or equivalent and relevant qualification will be an added advantage. This position also requires 6 years of work experience in the relevant field.

Key performance responsibilities include: 

  • Manage the budget and finances of the operations of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer and track expenditure related to the running off the Office ;
  • Manage the diary of the Chief Executive Officer and provide logistical support and secretarial services to the Office
  • Provide procurement and compliance support to the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Manage the document system in the office of the Chief Executive Officer
  • Make travelling and accommodation arrangements for the CEO nationally and internationally.
  • Manage incoming correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide all other Office Management related support services to the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.
