Automating decision-support tools to improve the management and regulation of biological invasions in South Africa.

A post-doctoral fellowship is available to conduct research as part of the South African National Biodiversity Institute’s work on biological invasions. In working at the interface of research, management, and policy, the post-doctoral researcher would both do high-quality research, producing results that have impact (e.g., on the regulations or on how plants are managed). The position thus provide opportunities for post-docs to develop their skills and bring new skills in the context of real-world problems.
