University Careers Expo
The University Careers Expo provides an opportunity for University students to engage with the institution for possible work placement based on their field of study. We visit different universities within the province of Limpopo to conduct this graduate placement programme and sometimes we collaborate with other organizations and engage with various students from different fields of study and the career fair mainly focus on the field of Biodiversity careers.
High School Careers Expo
We coordinate and facilitate a high school career expo each year between July and September. The aim of this expo is to engage with learners and promote different Biodiversity careers. The career expo follows a structured protocol in which groups of learners are escorted through a number of career stations according to a set timeframe.
Primary School Careers Visit
We coordinate and facilitate a primary school dress up career expo each year between October and November aiming to create awareness about biodiversity careers in a fun way. In preparation of this career expo the educators are provided with packs of information about different biodiversity careers which they use to research information and facilitate a career role play with the learners in preparation for the expo.
